About Us

DoctorsNWeH produces innovative e-Health tools for making sense of local healthcare.

Formed as a collaboration between The University of Manchester, Salford Royal Foundation Trust, Salford Primary Care Trust, NWeH combines the University's strength in bio-health informatics and technology innovation with Salford NHS's strength in front-line clinical informatics and the integration of primary and secondary care.

NWeH's mission is to make sense of local healthcare through better integrated and analysed information. The integration includes smarter views and models of care across hospital and community based practice. Through application of its unique e-Lab platform technology, NWeH offers sense-making tools and expertise that yield insights that both directly support care and generate new healthcare knowledge.

Through a pioneering partnership NWeH is staffed by a team of experienced clinicians, scientists, software engineers and designers.
