Across hospitals, primary care trusts and general practice there is a significant steady-state requirement to report on internal operations, progress against targets and local specific outcomes.

With these aims in mind and through the e-Lab platform, NWeH can design and offer flexible templates for both standard and more complex reporting, which are modifiable and fully adaptable at a local hospital, PCT or medical practice level.

NWeH is working with healthcare partners to introduce these tools to deliver clear cost savings and efficiency improvements. For example, through both the utilisation of an integrated record across primary and secondary care and through the development of specific decision support tools, NWeH is positioned to help hospital clinicians and general practitioners to maintain a comprehensive patient data record in-line with local and national guidelines. Furthermore, such activity falls within mandated operational structures such as the Quality Outcome Framework, and hence such products can aid clinicians (for example General Practitioners) meet performance obligations and targets.
