Researchers

NWeH provides expert analyses of linked anonymised health records from well-studied populations. NWeH staff employ the highest standards of information governance and work closely with local clinicians to raise data quality and ensure that datasets are well described. Researchers may also request anonymised extracts of research-ready data. NWeH offers rapid responses to requests for data or support.

Uses ranging from epidemiological to health services research to pharmaco-vigilance can be achieved at lower cost and with more engagement with local clinicians.

NWeH will offer groups/federations of localities statistical and informatics consultancy for specific research projects, improving the quality and efficiency of research in those areas.

For external research organisations wanting to work across a number of communities, NWeH will be well placed to provide rapid, high quality analyses of linked, anonymised health records.  In addition, for special studies involving consented special measurements or samples, NWeH will provide an easy way to link special study data to research-ready health record data.
