ASSIST leads informatics workforce developments

New launch of 'one stop shop'

The Association for Informatics Professionals in Health and SocialCare (ASSIST) has launched a new professional information portal   a 'one stop shop' for professional, personaleducational, leadership and managerial development opportunities. 

Work is alsounderway on a new Health Informatics Specialist Workforce Development Strategyfor England, based on research and intelligence gathered from across the NHSand other key stakeholder groups and organisations. The aim is to have a draftready for consultation in May/June 2010.
