BMA launch health informatics strategy arguing for doctors to have more say

The British Medical Association has launched a health informaticsstrategy arguing for doctors to have more say in spending priorities. Continuedinvestment in hardware, software and training is needed to deliver high qualitycare, it says. 

The NHS should build on successes such as GPSOC (GP Systems ofChoice), GP2GP record transfers and PACS and invest in services that willimprove patient care.
